CJM06 : Jaguar E-type Lowdrag - Silverstone 1973

Classic Jaguar Miniatures decided to model this Lowdrag later on in it's racing career too, unfortunately, the 1970's was a period of racing when racing cars were just that ...... old beat up racing cars, worth what the next man would pay for it ........ regardless of the cars past history ( in this case Le Mans ).
By the time 49 FXN had passed into the hands of John Carden, the car was looking a bit sad and beat up. It didn't get better as the Lowdrag was rolled on at least 2 occasions by John during his ownership, racing it in the JDC ( Jaguar Drivers Club ) race meetings to fairly good results.
CJM have modelled the car from Silverstone in 1973 when it ran with No.145 on the door driven by John Carden, this had a side exiting exhaust and visible silencer below the nearside sill. John had the car painted in his colours which were bright Red, with a Gold over-body stripe which fanned out around the nose.

If you have any further questions about this model, I will gladly answer you Thank you.
